School Health Nursing Course, September 7-8-9

Within the team providing school health services, the school health nurse plays a vital role in protecting the health of students. School nurses provide health information in schools, support children with health problems, and implement health-preventive interventions. Accordingly, the aim of this course is to equip nurses working in schools with the knowledge and skills to address priority issues, given the increased need for school health nursing during the pandemic. In this context, the Cyprus Turkish Nurses and Midwives Association provided this course at our association building for our nurse members who will be working in schools. The instructors giving the course were: Cyprus Turkish Nurses and Midwives Association Continuous Education Unit Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek SARPKAYA GÜDER, Specialist Elif İLKHAN, Dr. Erdem BEYOĞLU (Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist), Specialist Mine BAHÇECI (TRNC Ministry of Health, Teacher Nurse), and Specialist Çiğdem ADATAŞ ŞEŞEN, Vice President of the Cyprus Turkish Nurses and Midwives Association.
